Zahid Jewellers is a family-owned business that has been passed down from generations. The founder of the business, Mr. Ali Akbar, started it early 1900s and worked hard to make the brand more than just a way to make a living; it was his legacy, and he was determined to pass it to forthcoming generations.

In 1971, Mr. Akbar named the business Zahid Jewellers in honor of his eldest son, Zahid Ali, who grew up watching his father and learned the ropes of the trade at a young age. In 1993, Zahid took over and furthered the brand with his perseverance and forward-thinking. He embraced modern technology and was one of the first in the region to use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create custom pieces for his clients, which proved to be an absolute game-changer, and soon became the signature for Zahid Jewellers.

In 2019, Zahid’s son, Mughees Ali, a tech savvy businessman took over, who was just as passionate about the family legacy as his elders. He invested heavily in e-commerce and social media marketing, which helped the business reach new heights.

Under Mughees’s leadership, the brand continued to thrive, and has been expanded to new markets globally and Mr. Ali Akbar’s legacy has lived on through his family’s commitment to excellence, innovation, and tradition.
